Welcome to MealPlanAI. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the MealPlanAI mobile application (the "App") operated by Nexova Dev LLC ("we", "our", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

MealPlanAI is a mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized meal plans, recipes, shopping lists, and nutrition advice. The App is available as a free version with limited features and a paid Pro subscription with full access.

2. Medical Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: MealPlanAI is designed for informational and educational purposes only. The content generated by the App, including meal plans, recipes, and nutrition advice, is NOT intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider or registered dietitian before making significant changes to your diet, especially if you have food allergies, medical conditions, or are taking medications.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

• Pro features require a subscription, which is processed entirely through the Apple App Store (StoreKit 2).
• Subscription plans: Monthly ($4.99/month) and Yearly ($29.99/year).
• Payment is handled by Apple. We do not collect or store your payment information.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings in the App Store.
• Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy.

4. Free Tier Limitations

The free version of MealPlanAI includes limited AI-generated content:

• 3 meal plans
• 5 recipes
• 10 AI nutrition questions per device

These limits are per device and reset only when the app data is cleared.

5. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your app data.
• You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• You understand that AI-generated content may contain errors and should be verified.
• You agree to provide accurate information in your profile for better recommendations.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and content (excluding user-generated content), is the intellectual property of Nexova Dev LLC and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nexova Dev LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the App or by posting updated Terms on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
